Fasal AI, is an AI model being developed for automated monitoring of health and growth impediments in agricultural crops .
The model is being developed with the objective of improved analysis of plant health and targeted use of growth promoter products.
This allows for improved harvest predictions, reduced cultivation costs and overall process efficiency in the Agriculture sector.
Fasal.AI is being developed under the Bharat Compute initiative.
The model, at present is in development phase with beta release scheduled for second half of 2025.
The model ingets data in various forms comprising of geo spatial imagery, close form images and evalutates benchmark plant phenotypes.
Coupled with the power of Industry 4.0, the technology allows for realtime automated descision making related to plant health, relevant interventions, leading to overall improved yield with special emphais on sustainability.
The project was conceptualised in 2024. We realise that AI is the next frontier in human evolution and India must be a front runner in the new AI race.
In its initial phase the model is being developed for Indian cash crop plant phenotype, with a clear objective of Data sovereignty in the upcoming AI race.
